Design Terms

General

The foundation of HalalPrint.com's principles is to successfully deliver quality print materials and design services that are "halal", Arabic for "permissible", according to the teachings of Islam. We will not print or design any materials which contain pictures of people or animals unless the face/head is not visible.  We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or organization without explaining the reason for refusing service.  We do not offer our service to organizations which are affiliated with certain industries including but not limited to: the entertainment industry i.e musicians, night clubs and others.  We do not cater to the adult entertainment industry, the money lending industry (involved in taking interest), political organizations, government agancies, and any other industries which we may at any time choose not to provide our services for.

Design Process

For most design services, our typical process is as follows:

• Once payment is received, we will begin the design process by collecting ideas and concepts from the client to get an idea of how they would like their product to look.  This includes having the client supply us with links to images and/or websites they like, and informing us of styles, fonts and colors in order to make the draft process as smooth as possible.
• If the client does not have any images to use for the product, HalalPrint will provide royalty-free stock images at no cost.  In some cases, the quality, type, or resolution of images used will require HalalPrint to purchase the imagery from a stock photo site.  The client will be responsible for any fees associated with the purchase of the images.  If this is the case, HalalPrint will provide watermarked photos for the draft.  If the client agrees to the images, the images will be purchased and the client will be invoiced for the total cost of the images.
• Within a few days or a pre-determined time, we will supply the client with a draft of the artwork
• The client is allowed 3 revisions to the artwork.  Any additional revisions will require an additional fee; most additional fees are paid by the hour.
• Once the product is complete, we will supply the client with a PDF file of the artwork

For logo design:

• Once payment is received, we will begin the design process by collecting ideas and concepts from the client to get an idea of how they would like their logo to look.  This includes informing us of any logos, concepts, styles, fonts and colors in order to make the draft process as smooth as possible.
• Within a few days or a pre-determined time, we will supply the client with 3 sample logos
• The client will decide which sample he/she prefers and then is allowed 3 revisions to it
• Any additional revisions will require an additional fee; most additional fees are paid by the hour.
• Once the logo is complete, we will supply the client with a vector PDF file of the artwork

For website design:

• Once payment is received, we will begin the design process by collecting ideas and concepts from the client to get an idea of how they would like their site to look.  This includes having the client supply us with links to images and/or websites they like, and informing us of styles, fonts and colors in order to make the draft process as smooth as possible.
• If the client would like HalalPrint to develop content for the site, an additional fee will be required.  Othewise, the client is responsible for supplying HalalPrint.com with the entire content for the site.
• If the client does not have any images to use for the site, HalalPrint will provide royalty-free stock images at no cost.  In some cases, the quality, type, or resolution of images used on the site will require HalalPrint to purchase the imagery from a stock photo site.  The client will be responsible for any fees associated with the purchase of the images.  If this is the case, HalalPrint will provide watermarked photos for the draft.  If the client agrees to the images, the images will be purchased and the client will be invoiced for the total cost of the images.
• In order to set up technical configuration of the site, we will require the client to purchase their domain (www.mycompany.com) and hosting as soon as possible.
• Within a pre-determined time, we will supply the client with a draft of the website.  Most draft website's will be uploaded to the client's host account.
• The client will be responsible for reviewing over the website and suggesting any revisions as needed.
• Any additional pages, features or functionality originally not agreed to prior to the design process will require an additional fee.
• Once the client has given approval to site, the site will be completed and any additional fees must be surrendered.
